Will you have unseeded canola acres from the Canadian Prairies? Worst start in June in ag in over 34 years! How much do you have sold for 2026 bushels.

I seeded almost all intended acres of canola. However, some of those acres are now flooded out. Paid crop insurance premium as crop insurance will be needed this fall. Not optimistic at all. Lock bin doors until its is 20+. Rain makes mud not grain.

Just finished spraying to get rid of canola weed in soy. Crops are off to a great start. It all comes down to rain in the summer.

Good luck to anyone hoping for $20 canola. In a few weeks the Neil Townsend crop tour will hit the road and predict its annual biggest crop ever. Prices will tank after that, and stay low until next May when it becomes obvious the crop was overestimated in size. Happens every year. Farmers get screwed cause they have to sell to pay bills for the next 10 months and can’t wait for the high next May. Who pays the costs for this crop tour?

Canola will struggle to stay where it is
too many outside factors and the market hates it if the deem even a few areas have a good crop along with the basis levels . The grain companies will want their share of your hard work and extreme risk
