The 2026 Trump/Xi Summit in China was one BIG disappointment, but the USDA May Crop Report was bullish U.S. wheat. Wheat Quality Council Tour confirmed the lower wheat production from the USDA for Kansas. Could the U.S. drought travel East and North into the top “I” states from June to August of 2026? #1 U.S. pork buyer Mexico bans 10% of supplies. E15 passes through Congress but will it pass in the Senate? Higher U.S. wholesale inflation reminds us of 2020-2022. Meal futures spiking + CFTC.

The May crop report may of been bullish but after Trumps meetings in China wheat has dropped over 50 cents, the art of the deal I guess. Think wheat will rebound back and then some, but might not be until new crop is in and harvest pressure is done, 2027 IMHO.

Reports I'm seeing expect China purchases depend on whether trump okays $14 billion arm sale to Taiwan. If he signs it, China will look elsewhere if they need to.Originally posted by agstar77 View PostDid he sell out Taiwan? Is this less than China bought before Trump? Will it even happen?

Not sure why they would need all this military equipment. If China wanted to take over Taiwan nothing they can do will stop them. I have visited these countries a few times and in my eyes Hong Kong is better off under China. Even many of the brit’s that have lived there for decades agree . Yes if you break the law you will be dealt with more harshly probably.
