Neighbor is still 50/50 with worked summerfallow. He has had fields blow 4 or 5 times this year.

You would think those fields should be the first to get seeded. But he seeds his crops in a certain order. Can't change.

Dust is when the seeded canola winds up in the road ditch.
Sprouted peas on top of the ground.
Yuck. Something every young guy needs to see.
50-50 summerfallow, wow, there must be a story there.
Last generation of that family on that property.
      Educational stories, interesting.
Have one here farming unchanged since 1970.
Last generation on that one too.
Believe the gas well with rights was shut in.

Lots of dirt blowing in southern Alberta. Will get alot worse without rain. None in forecast. Grass has been going backwards for about a week. Areas with grass but no runoff for cows.

Not around Coleville. Only 5mm, was hoping for more.
Environment Canada radar's gain must have been cranked up too high, lots of times the radar was showing it was raining here, when it was not.

7 1/2 sections of owned land. Low debt load. Just a tonne ( yes AB5 - tonne) of lost opportunities.

Can't see it move forward from here, but will be around in some form.
