Anybody that used a cultivator this spring had lots of dirt moving yesterday. Maybe a tenth of rain. Very dry here. A few guys done, others getting close. Lots in the 50-60% range. Frost on the truck this morning. A few days of cold yet. Earlier seeded crops are up.
Friday Crop report on a Thursday mid may. Where has the month gone!

Nothing done here. Most of the winter snow melted this week. Lots of water runs still running and flood covered fields starting to dry up.
Started raining last evening and then changed to snow overnight. Still snowing and the afternoon temps today are below 0. The lawn is starting to turn white but dark soil in the garden is melting.
About the earliest I can see us starting is around the week of the 24th if the weather is favorable.

20% done here. All the sloughs are full or overflowing from the snowmelt. Lentils are in, started on wheat. Good subsoil moisture. Rain yesterday/ last night now currently snowing. Last I checked the gauge it showed 8/10". Forecast shows more to come. Can't see us turning a wheel for a while. Time to get the last of the cows turned out to pasture.
