    Why Do We Put Up With This Sh--.

    Why do we continue as farmers to be held hostage to the Unions and Railways in this country.
    This winter we should have seen some of the best prices in the last 10 years for almost all of our products and been sweeping out bins by now.
    But wait we live in Canada land of the Idiots. First the CWB in all its wisdom sold most grain at low end of prices then the railways and their poor service couldn't ship it out. Then the Unions started disruptions and cost us more sales. Now were the laughing stock in world of grain because when our product is needed we cant deliver. WE NEED VIAGRA for the grain industry.
    And here it is Get on this ethanol and Bio Diesel boom and build build build. Then instead of shipping grain out let the buyers of fuel pay for it.
    This will kill the CWB(its about time) this will cut CP and CNS profits by oh just a few pennies.
    But watch the Latia crowd from Toronto are already saying oh the poor wont eat and all experts are warning that this technology wont work etc.
    Well is it just me or has the USA single handily just figured out how to Quit subsidising their farmers in WTO eyes and still created a vibrant Rural economy?
    But mean while in Canada we will study it and get back to you later.

    Start electing the right people and forget the party affiliation. Maybe that would help.

    What we really need in Canada is some STATESMEN and not some mealymouthed politico looking for rewards for sloth.

    We had some Statesmen about a hundred years ago but they were a dieing breed...too bad.

      Wilagro,

      How much time and effort did you put into the Governance of Canada:
      Last week;
      Last month;
      Last year?

      Proverbs(16:32) Better a patient man than a warrior,
      a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city.

      (17:15) Acquitting the guilty, and condemning the innocent-
      the LORD detests them both.

      (17:19) He who loves a quarrel loves sin,
      he who builds a high gate invites destruction.

      (17:26) It is not good to punish an innocent man,
      or to flog officials for their integrity.

      (18:12) Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud,
      but humility comes before honour.

      I watch as our "Designated Area" Conservative MP's work 80-100 hours a week to make western Canada a better place... in good faith...

      And you accuse them of sloth?

        I note the initial comment about the bio fuel policy in the US and might note there are likely other reasons for an oil importing nation. The US imports energy (crude oil) and exports energy (corn). Bio fuel policy is one way of recycling energy within the US.

        Also note the impact of US farm policies on their customers. Traditional buyers of US corn will have to diversify their source of supplies. This will create opportunities.

          Tom4CWB: (But isn't)...The purported sayings of the Lord don't wash with me. The conversion didn't take (I must be allergic), and I don't thrive on cliches.

          Anyway, you worship your way and I won't preach to you if you will reciprocate. Understood?

                CP;

                I believe Jesus would not bomb anyone.

                Wilagro;

                Interesting how you completely avoided my question. Why?

                I set a standard, quotes from the wisest man who ever lived... Solomon...

                And this offends you? WHY?

                Please tell me why when I require an honest CWB with integrety... you say this means I am against the CWB?

                DaleK;

                Strange how we humans find a way to kill each other... without any help!

                  Tom4CWB Save it for Sunday Tom, don't try to spread it to thick on the rest of us in the mean time, that is unless there is money to be made, selling it as a commodity!
