There was a Pillar drill seeding a quarter in the 'hood around here with a JD cart. Couple of nice crops. Was replaced by a Deeremaster last year. Likely because the Pillar at the time was only 60'. I think the new seeder is 80'. The crop last year on this quarter was not good but crops were generally disappointing on the solonetz regardless of the drill. This farmer comes from a ways south of here so not sure why the travel to seed some poor ground but more acres.
