I am curious Forage, how many times in your life have you payed attention to an election result in Hungary? So Victor Orban was first elected President 16 years ago. Hmm, that would be 6 years before Donald Trump is elected yet the main stream media talks about Orban as if he has attempted to duplicate Trump’s policies. If anything it would be the other way around, Trump would be attempting to copy Orban’s policies. As for Trump, as I have said not a fan. He was and is the only world leader to correctly identify China as a problem. Have his policies benefitted the American economy or the world economy? Nope. Has he made American’s lives more affordable? Nope. Have any of his policies really hurt China or China’s dominance in the world? No again. As far as Canada goes he has eliminated any chance of a Conservative government, basically giving Carney a free reign to do what he wants. As an Albertan over 90% of our oil goes stateside, as a beef farmer over 80% of my beef exports go stateside, as a canola farmer almost 80% of crushed canola oil went stateside, my grain prices are set all based on U.S. futures. Without the U.S. market my business doesn’t exist. So yes I look forward to January 2029 when hopefully a new U.S. President is sworn in but in the meantime one has to be cognizant regardless of the leader how important it is that we still consider the U.S. our friend, advice that would benefit the main stream media and the rest of Canada.

Politics is off the rails! The U.S. was choosing between a near communist, Harris, or a brash arse with way too much baggage Trump. Generally speaking, people thought they had no real choice and voted for Trump. (moderates and swing voters)
