          sumdumguy,

          I like this site:

          http://www.tfc-charts.com/

          click on Intraday Quotes;

          Then on the left side there are the different markets... pick which one interests you.

          There are continuous news articles running on this site... it is very informative.

          I also subscribe to DTN on the internet... it has many informative peices.

          Looks like the frost scare has fizzled for now.

            Big jump in wheat first thing this morning but now she's come down quite a bit again. It'll be interesting to see how things close.

              Ag is great, it takes a failure somewhere to make money elsewhere. Old man winter is hanging around our area, threatening to not leave. Maybe, he freeze our as- off to then with no crop in Can--- watch the price climb. We'll all be winners then, ha, ha, ha, let the open market digest that scenario!

                An update on the U.S. Easter freeze according to Informa's analysis. The most recent similar freeze was in 1997. That year the temperatures were even colder than this year. Prices rallied based on large cut in expected production. The crop recovered over the following weeks and yields were much higher than expected.

                A review of other similar frosts since 1931 found little direct correlation between April frosts and yield.

                Hope you wheat growers took advantage of the opportunity to lock in the futures-first side of a CWB Basis contract late last week. If not, take a close look at today's wheat closes. At 9: 49 Alberta time, Dec Mpls wheat is unchanged from Friday.
