    "
Trump is protecting us maybe from that happening and yet eastern Canadians and some out west think he is the problem.

Ask Grok how strong Sask, Alberta and Yukon would be if they joined the USA and how weak BC and the east would be! It's amazing. "

I get it Saskfarmer you like Trump. I was no fan of the Liberals and Carney but Trump gave them a huge gift. He made it a lot easier for the Liberals to win. Canada is more united against Trump's antics than ever before. Its sad really as he could have played on the western Canadian alienation sentiment to get people talking about statehood . Instead the Trump strategy has made this very tough. I think the Alberta vote will go no where and it will be a shock to some as to how low the actual sentiment to separate is. In the last provincial election here in Sask the Sask United Party was very vocal and maybe looked like something was going to happen but their vote share ended up being terrible. I'm very unhappy with the way eastern Canada treats the west. I know many down there look down on us as beneath them. The Alberta vote might have some reaction in changing the Equalization payment deal which is terrible for most of the west. I think many in the US are now realizing the Canada have not "treated them very badly" . We sell them mostly the raw goods that they value add and we end up buying back. Aluminum, potash, oil , gas, lumber. Canada buys more vehicles from the US than the US buys from Canada. I think the Trump tariffs will go down in history as a very bad move that will cost everybody. Its true that our military investments were a joke and its good that things are changing but this will take years for improvements.

It don’t matter what we think. We are always gonna be playing for second place against the US. Explain to me what the hell we would do if they just came in here and said that’s it your with us now. Only people in our country who seem to have guns to defend themselves or go on rampages and kill innocent people are the looneys and team switchers.

The Prince of Peace, founder of the Board of Peace, would never engage in such tactics, he would rather wage economic warfare...

          Here's something.
Some pollster in England surveyed 2000 people in CA, UK, Ger and Fr.
48% in Canada felt the US was a bigger threat to peace than China, and 57% that it's better to depend on China than the US.
At least the Europeans were smarter than that and recognized Russia as more dangerous to peace.
This to me hi-lites several theories as to where and how this country is headed.
People need to feel afraid to feel safe. The need for herd association defies rationale. Has our culture really gotten that dumb?

The answer is yup. Way dumber. We have an education system that is broken. Our teachers spend more time trying to coral all the adhd kids all the FAS kids all the kids that were born to parents that don’t parent than teaching. The kids that are actually normal (whatever that is nowadays) get the shaft on learning because their teacher time is so limited. Every part of our society we’ve built is channeled to babysit and support the dipshits. This is why we are going broke and falling apart. Our leaders/politicians are so geared to re-election they don’t deal with fixing the issues they just pander to special interest groups and those that manipulate them with cash and bribery. Not sure how things will change when both sides of the aisle are equally corrupt.

My son is ADHD and the farthest thing from a dipshit. Normal people helped fill the camps.
But I know what you mean. The screeching minority has become by default alone the majority. Today's normal is dipshit. Too dangerous to question.
Herd or tribe association instincts may have let us survive over the Neanderthals. But it can also lead to some of the dumbest things as well as the best.

I am not sure about you guys but I know anada is not working for a lot of Albertans the divide is more rural verses cities. The corruption in our country is running wild. When you compare Ab to quebec mp 38 vs 78 senators 6 vs 24 it is no wonder things don't work. Canada is spending money like there is no tomorrow the same as the rest of the western world,we are sliding fast into communisme

This is awkward - Trump was a Democrat most of his life.

Lincoln valued a society that allowed full development of talents even while living in one that denied access to 2/3 of the people.
Today access is more important than talent itself. Focusing on equality while important, can't drown out excellence. If victory no longer tastes sweet who will care enough.
2/3 of the population now think excellence isn't fair. Society is consuming itself yet again.
2/3 of the world still doesn't have access.
And no, I don't believe they teach this in school. Quite the opposite I think.

He's switched parties 5 time, has file for chapter 11 six times, and is listed 1500 times in the Epstein files.

Yet there are those on Agriville who still support him.

                      That's "awkward"!!!!
