What’s happening with cash rent for farmland?

I’m curious what happening with cash rent for farm land.

I see lots of land up for rent advertised and some land cash rent auctions by Robin Liu. If you have not seen it listed look up Robin Liu on Facebook market place.

It looks like some of Auctions are getting extended.

I see some cash rents going higher than I expected on some of the Andjelic land.

With the commodity prices the high cash rent prices do not pencil out.

No brainer rent tied to land values. I get top dollar rent but only 2% on my money. Anyone not cashed up cant expand.

Definitely more cautious rents now compared to 3-4 years ago in this area , some renegotiations apparently as well
last land sale tender had only two bids , and it was a very good 1/2 section . Land value was the same as 5 years ago … things gone flat here .
Money way tighter than most realize in some areas

Land rents should go down in relation to crop returns but that may take a few years. Its certainly not 2022.

New land rent deal was done east of us about 12 miles $135.00 an acre. It’s not done in some areas.

if one can get 140 an acre out of monette no need to rent out for less

                14 -15 $ a bu canola x 10 seems to be setting the rent
                Is Monette still in business?

Crop share, then the landlord can take a risk also.

I would imagine some contract obligations he can’t get out of cause no one willing too take the huge risk this late in the game . Actually would be foolish to do so at those numbers
