The reality is that Eastern Canada despises the West just as much as they despise America because of jealousy. They are too daft to realize that their quality of life hinges on the success of others.

MPs have had 8 weeks off to inform constituents about issues like this. Instead of holidaying maybe they should have been in touch with bureaucrats.

MPs can give themselves a raise for doing SFA for 280 days of the year but expect the heavy lifting to be done by voters or constituents when SHTF.

Same goes for any farm group that takes checkoff $$$$. Dogphhuckers all of them.

What is your complaint about the commissions? Be specific.

I look at Sask Wheat for instance, we know varietal development in wheat returns 33:1 and the goal( largely achieved) is to spend 80% of checkoff on research. Governance is below 15%. We also can believe, based on surveys of large ag input corps in Australia, that their shareholders retain 90% of profit and only re-invest 10%.
