Trump has woke up the world. In his crude, unfiltered way he has laid it on the line. The open border policy implemented by Europe and Western societies has got to be rethought. Inviting people who do not integrate and do not contribute to society will erode and weaken our economies and undo what generations of hard work and innovation have grown. Surprisingly, Trump found a Somali author who works in US to agree with him and also advocate for controlled immigration. She, Ayana Hirsi Ali, stood up and publicly endorsed his principles and methods, the direction that he is taking the US. She bravely stood up and lectured the attendees at Davos and supported Trump’s stand. She cried out to the world that the very fabric of Western civilization is in jeopardy if we continue on this self-destructive path.
