    Whos your biggest competitor

    Presume USA.
Our biggest market SE Asia china and Japan well Argentina really undercutting to make sales bit like single desk day our AWB your CWB used to do anything to sell mountains of grain.
We have blue water advantage over Argie that’s all.
Russia Ukraine used to be prevalent in those markets against us not so much anymore.

Greedy neighbors who can't handle what they already own/ but still want more.

In grain markets, I believe Aussie causes us some grief. You used to be smaller players in the red lentil and canola markets. But no more.

Our biggest thorn in the side is our own government that has disrupted our exports and trade relations all around the world the past 10 years

And never once treated us like the dairy cartel for loss of markets or trade dispute due to political incompetence.

It goes back earlier than that. Triffid flax brought in by unscrupulous breeders cost flax growers markets that never recovered. No one gave a shit for those losses.

But dairy loses .005% of their share during trade negotiations and billions handed out.

This is what is wrong with our farm representatives. Their focus is way offside for the current issues.

Sure R&D has to be done but when your markets are disappearing - growing more isn't the biggest threat to the farm- markets are.

And while they say they are finding canola markets - those markets don't have crush capacity to match so those countries or international companies are just being a middleman and extracting the premiums.

Not rocket science but for those representing us that can't operate a Walmart calculator - it is difficult.
