Health insurance becomes an issue when travelling out of country. Hit the big 65 and premiums go up, up, up. Any pre exicting conditions will not be covered. Have a cousin who owned a house in Florida for 22 years. Sold it last year mainly due to not able to afford health insurance due to heart condition.The states have great medical facilities but crazy expensive. Ask me how i know .

Yes some homes built for spec are not filling as fast but lots from NY and other states know where to come. A typical home in Regina or Toronto isn't worth the millions they tell you. A condo in Toronto isnt worth millions to look at snow.
