Short bids limited bushels things going on just to keep crusher bins topped up. Thoughts on the new year anybody ?

The oil market seems pretty healthy. Futures for bean oil have been near or above 50 cents since early summer. So I assume crushers are making money hand-over-fist.

My local elevator basis range between minus 50 and minus $60/T depending on the delivery month. So I assume they are also making money hand-over-fist.

Judging by how many trains are rolling through town. Rail movement is certainly not an issue.

Everyone else in the supply chain looks fat and happy. Is the farmer?

To many bushels..basis same till next fall..
yr ago we got zero basis.
If not sold today, crusher full till Jan.. maybe just mind games but it's working for them.trust them as much as ctv/cbc..
