My Conversation with Ken Motiuk and his book Culture of Control

In this episode of The Trent Klarenbach Podcast, Trent interviews Ken Motiuk (https://www.cultureofcontrol.ca/), an author and grain farmer from Mundare, Alberta.

Ken discusses his book 'Culture of Control' (https://amzn.to/4omL518), which covers his battle against the Canadian Wheat Board and explores how government institutions can become detrimental to industries over time.

Ken shares his family's Ukrainian heritage, his agricultural background, and the challenges he faced while modernizing their farming techniques in the 1970s.

He delves into the bureaucratic struggles with the Wheat Board, the inefficiencies it caused in grain marketing, and his long journey advocating for farmer autonomy.

The conversation also touches on broader issues of government control and entrepreneurship in Canadian agriculture.

For more details and insights, listen in and gain a deeper understanding of the historical and ongoing battles for agricultural freedom in Western Canada.
