Good morning, Quebec compound sand.
Corrupt province holding back Western Canada and then BC run by that idiot Eby with his tanker ban. We are not a united country at all.
Canola peas and china zero done and nothing will change.
They don't care.
Crop report.
Harvest is 88% done, I would have finished in September for the first time in years but had to pick up 10 more quarters so we are still going.
Most are done just a few are left on flax and Canola.
Hrs and Durum yields were good but no record. I did finally hit my goal yield on 300 acres of pig shit land for the first time. A great feeling now to try that on 4000 acres.
Flax is below average to average yield.
It's is lower and later didn't like the rain in sept.
Barley early seeded did very well and made malt. Later Good yield but rain issues.
Canary seed us average yield.
Peas were above for yield and so we're lentils.
Canola is all over the map. Early not as Good. Later better and rains and flowering time made a difference. Seems 4 and 5 are common numbers this year for most. The canola triangle of south of battle for to kidersley over to rosetown and back sweet spot. Will it cover the losses north of 16 hyw? Not a chance.
It's a 20.6 mt crop. I'm sticking with this number.
One note contacts in the states say corn guys have lower yield than usda is posting due to later rains and guys dropped fungicides because it was to dry early.
Beans lots of massive plants and lots of white mold to lower yields not as big either.
We need sales and the china thing to be dealt with but it seems this new liberal government is like the old one completely incompetent.
Farmers can sure grow a crop under tough conditions to bad the government couldn't do the same.
Share your area and have a great day.
