Not sure I heard anything about a crush plant. They only buying the grain side not the ethanol/alcohol side. That elevator is pretty much all condo, so I’m still processing why they are buying in…..

No idea on the structure of the condo agreements at that elevator, but some other elevators after X number of years, your “condo” reverts back to the elevator and your investment $ in that space is gone. Also, where we were involved, your “condo” often didn’t have any space available, even though you never hauled any grain.

What's the point of owning elevator condo space if you aren't allowed to use it when you need it?

Sounds like it is all coming together as planned by Ritz. When does Saudi Gov't step back in, I'm sure they aren't asleep. Someone's pockets are bulging and don't think it is farmers. LOL

              Couple of comments
              1. Don't see any relevance to a crush plant with this purchase. With Bunge/Viterra being one entity - its just an expansion on their current assets.
              2. Interesting to see how much this was bought for. $27M for 60k of space... seems like a pretty good deal for a 30 yr old elevator. Would be surprised to see any new elevator capacity built if this is what this asset is being sold for. Pretty sure g3's elevator in Rycroft was 50-60M for less space. Will be interesting to see if we get more divestitures of elevators from companies in the near future.

Lloyd or Clavet yes , neither within 80 miles
one here in NB would be ideal , and put local elevators on notice for not completely lowballing locals constantly
