My bank doesn't even have a banker and 1 or 2 tellers wont even turn the lights on beyond the counter.

How are your crops turning out? Did the rains you eventually got come early enough to do any good? Didn't look good early in the season.

Wheat meager, 30. Beans still holding may outyield wheat. Canola looks like a mess. It is being sprayed or swathed. No profit in farming this year, banks wont be happy.

There was someone on here saying that a grain buyer was yapping about a huge record crop in Manitoba?

Not around here. Some areas did get rain and are fighting weather to finish.

Very variable here Furrow. Few miles one way or the other and yields are 20 bushels difference. Rain lottery determined fields outcome. Later seeding will have a few more bushels but that could change this week if it gets cold enuf. Soys and Edibles have gained some bushels this past month

Extremely variable here as well , go 15 miles North to NW and things are 50% of their average all the way to the forest line
go 6 miles SE where they got a few good rains mid July and crops are above average where not hailed
Here we finally had a good average crop but hail looks to be taking 50-85% south of yard and 10-20% north of yard
The few fields not hit are slightly above average .
tough to gauge area cause hail storm covered most of this RM to some degree

even within fields yields are streaky from north to south , but thats typical after major hail events like that I suppose
