Liberals have pissed off everyone of our trading partners. Why? Because they could

China is half the market on peas. It's a pretty big pea crop and growers are selling it and pushing the price down. There just isn't enough places to move it so the job of the market is to drop to the point people stop selling.

This isn't about anything outside of Chinese tariffs and yes this is on the liberals. Who seem completely asleep.

Good question. I have asked that myself.

How many dollars a bushel has disappeared from the yellow pea market strictly because of the Chinese tariffs due to this liberal governments protection of a nonexistent EV industry ?

I know Vickie was offering $11 before any of this tariff nonsense

$6.85 yesterday and some have pulled bids completely now .

The checkoff groups have done SFA so far - why?

This isn't a new issue by any means and its not just political incompetence , its the so called farmer wannabe politicians sitting on boards that is the biggest part of the problem.

When one farm can get not one but two federal ag ministers to visit in the last year alone and nothing is done about anything , somehow I don't think the conversation was about anything meaningful regarding agriculture on the prairies.
