So you think things are bad here.

What is the comment or point you're trying to make?

Based on the poster and the grossly exaggerated clickbait thread title, I'm going to guess this is an anti-trump comment.

No, I tracked Shurden Farms on FB.
I've heard this stuff since before high school. Just wondered what agstar saw.

Europe is same or worse , farmers are their own worst enemy , by far the group of the most over achievers, nobody else will work around the clock and take the risks farmers do , don't know what the answer is , notting will change while the shelves are full in the stores , because nobody cares how many hours you work or how much you get payed

society is just 9 meals from anarchy , thats why they will keep production going , if some farmers go under they know other farmers are like vultures circling to grab what they had and carry on

Honestly, I just see the continuing consolidation of producer numbers producing a raw commodity through economy of scale. Been ongoing since the Industrial Revolution.
Politics speeds it up or slows it down.
Some nations may have an internal affordable food policy. It isn't funded by supporting inefficient production. That is a separate matter.
For most of us, we will not have grandchildren farming "our" land.
All things come to an end.
I'm guessing a comparison to most on here and the fellow in the video would show far more differences between his business and ours.
Make money or don't, inflation doesn't care.

After a two minute search it seems Shurden is in MS. He's well diversified. Cropping, farm to fork beef and pork and an excavation business.
His audience wouldn't know his vid is a simple inflation piece that has affected everyone. He's selling his brand.
