    Canola

So the premier made an announcement in Yorkton, the richest grain family in Canada can't afford to build a road to its billion dollar facility.

And he met with AG ministers in Saskatoon.

That's about it for the canola issue this week.

A year long issue and this is the best they can come up with?

This is political incompetence at its finest. Its obvious Moe is looking for a board seat , not sure why any company would put a retard on the board.

Agree a B.S. thing to build a better road to crush plant, when soon maybe no country will want our products.
oh by the way where's Carney on this topic?

Apparently the NDP have been asking for this road as well.

There is a rail crossing at a pioneer elevator that needs an upgrade plus they could grade the road occasionally.

Infrastructure like this isn't an ag announcement. What's next because we use steel in our machinery the paving of Armour Road in Regina is an ag announcement.

I agree with bucket. With all the meddling happening in the canola market, Our elected officials failed us once again. 4.5km of road is not the solution right now and frankly oblivious to the overall problem at hand. A empty puff peice. We need something of substance to actually help the looming disaster to save our market caused by political interference and meddling. Not a municipal infrastructure project as bucket so elegantly said.

Its a stupid road that ends at Richardson so all trucks from the north have to drive into Yorkton then go back the crusher.

Yes its important but Carney needs to get his shit together and deal with this.

Government is scared to set the precedent of paying for their incompetency, it is the biggest issue on my farm, oh to be paid out of their pockets.

I was really expecting something concrete like
"we are very concerned and watching this issue very carefully",
didn't even get the usual lip service...crzy

A class action lawsuit would wake the feds up.
