Why are all prices so shitty?
1 bushel more than is needed is a over supply.
Yet farmers go more acres, try for mega yields. Consumers are all happy.

Everyone in the world grows wheat. Harvest is happening somewhere pretty much year round.

We don't know what grain companies are selling for. They make $ on difference between what they can buy and sell for. Do you think Saudi Gov't and USA BUNGE are passing on all profits to farmers? Or would they be under cutting each other in marketplace to get sales? Forcing our Canadian companies to lower prices also? Just wondering how it is working for farmers.
