I am very curious as to how Manitoba is going to have its best canola crop in years .
There are several very credible posters here from Manitoba, would be interesting to hear comments.
I know Agstar has been sharing how dry it’s been in his area .
These big canola production estimates from people in industry sure don’t match up with what moisture maps show
Past 60 days percent of average shows a much different story .

Big canola crops require a lot of moisture in peak growing stage
That is absolutely not the case according to this moisture map even remotely unless it’s wrong ??

Furrow we are in the NW and she’s burnt up. There definitely are areas that are ok but no bumper. I would say no more than an average crop. Too dry for July and below average rain for years don’t make a good crop. Rain lottery winners will be average to possibly above but those areas are localized. They will do their best to brag it up as usual.
