At one point Vegas had Pierre as what... 80% chance to win?
he's a turd. Absolute loser and cons won't go anywhere with him. Easy to say he cost them an election. Nothing was stopping him from standing up to trumps rhetoric and coming in with his own " elbows up" slogan. Would've been easier for him cuz it was 1 word less than his regular slogan length.

Nothing wrong with whats happeng during this by-election. They are actually fighting FOR electoral reform and having this number of candidates allowed is an attempt to show the absurdity of the system, not to throw an election. Do some homework. Pierre will win without a doubt but he's not the answer to the liberals. Guy should've won but fumbled it by trying to appease every side of the conservative party. At some point someone will get left behind . Libs picked him apart with his stupid 3 word slogans.

Not a carney fan. Didn't vote for him. Thus far , I'll admit, I don't mind what he's done. If they jam a pipeline down the natives throats they may get my vote. Time to get some oil to tidewater..one way or another.

Canada died Feb 14, 2022. That was the date of the illegal imposition of the 'emergencies' act. That is a day that will live on in infamy. The sooner this shithole is put to death, the better. It was incumbent of the rest of canada to at least vote conservative on Apr 28 to extend an olive branch to western canada. Many did, however, in our corrupt electoral system, it was not enough. Carnage was cheated in anyways. The only vote that matters is AB separation: YES. I can't wait.

Goalieguy you confuse me. You think Premier Smith sucks. You think Pierre sucks. Personally I think Premier Smith is doing a very good job given the circumstances. Pierre I think is an extremely intelligent politician and a hard worker. Your political beliefs appear similar to mine but we are I am guessing 25 years apart in age (I am 61). So certainly in different stages of our life. My family started farming in Alberta in 1906, basically as long as Alberta has been a province. Would I like to see a new country consisting of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and Northern B.C., absolutely. We are run in western Canada essentially by dictate from Quebec. Unfortunately my dream will never be realized, hence the need for a strong Premier like the one we have, working for greater control of our future. Carney ran on Canadians fear of Trump, Pierre ran on what mattered to Canadians, especially younger Canadians like yourself. If you think a left leaning climate zealot(historically his outlook) who politically must pander to eastern Canada is going to enrich western Canada, you even a greater dreamer than I, this is why you baffle me.
