Funny comment because Harper just stated that the Carney government called him for advice about dealing with the USA. Who is listening to who????

I don’t think he sounds like Trump.

I’ve never heard him talk about a woman’s cat.

A general overlap in policy is hardly an equation to being like Trump. Carney also has overlap in policy, does he sound just like Trump?

Thank you for your timely post providing a perfect example of why the system does not give the voters intelligence very much credit. Far too many of them just mindlessly repeat the same propaganda they get from the TV news as you just did.

Or maybe conservatives just pick wrong leaders to follow ? Have you ever voted differently in a federal election? If not it is mathematical that your not in the group that selects the government.

I don't vote in Federal elections. The election is decided long before to polls close this far west.

Save your lecture for Eastern Canadian voters who decide the election every time.

Apparently story goes carney reached out to Harper the other day for advice on dealing with trade issues. So Newguy bashing Harper like you liberals do ad nauseum more than illustrates the point you recite the same tropes over and over, which you criticize right wingers for.

I don’t have the hatred for carney like that of Trudeau. Does it mean I think he’s better? Sure some things he is so far but he’s devolving back into the same liberal doctrine of doing nothing of great importance for the economy. Funny I think him floating around securing trade agreements is almost similar to Trump signing all these agreements with other nations. Think him recognizing Palestine as a country was a ham fisted attempt to shore up lefty support which is bleeding back to the ndp. Sure doesn’t improve our lot with Canada us relations.

Now for this longest ballot stunt. If it is truly about election reform and not a leftist effort to screw a candidate out of their seat then let’s do this in Karla Becks seat next election. Imagine the bloody murder Chuck or Newguy would cry.

Yup, funny it's just in Con riding...

I've already mentioned the book the Libs ghost wrote months before election praising our new prime minister.

Justin was just stupid. And he had stupid advisors. Trade was irrelevant.
                  Carney is not stupid.
One can only wonder how recognizing Palestine days before a US agreement fits in the chess game.
I guess if you don't know who the pawns are, it's you.

How many Liberals were voted in Western Canada? Those would have made a difference on the out come if they had went CPC.

And speaking of election reform and conflict of interest, why are civil servants allowed to vote in elections? Is that the ultimate conflict of interest?

Politicians are supposed to divest or distance themselves from their financial interests, or at least recuse themselves from voting if it could affect their business interests. Yet the people whose salaries depend on government, are allowed to vote for the same government, against the people who are paying those salaries
