Our weather lately can be best described by watching our neighbor trying to hay.
Has all the latest and greatest equipment. Cut a beautiful grass hay crop. Tedded it, raked it back together, made a couple of bales and got rained on for a few days.
Repeated the exact same thing a few days later.
After getting rained on yet again, they came in with the silage cutter and blew it all back on the field.
I suppose they are trying to make high quality dairy feed and decided to quit sacrificing the second cut for the garbage first cut?
My haying isn't going any better. But I'm not about to admit defeat that easily.
