Steffes do have a in person option for some farm auctions. Unfortunately the old open outcry sales aren't going to come back. I believe the seller does do better by timed auction as more are reached but the current fee structure is a big problem. Competition can and should fix that if other auction outfits come to the table. Also E-transfer and direct banking should be a no brainer for Ritchie's, yet they don't do it yet while some others do. With those timed auctions though I have found one has to manually enter bids and not enter your max in and let it ride. I think there must be a way to tell by some if you are auto bidding. I have always had more success but manually entering bids to my max and not just plugging in my max and letting auto bid work.
