      7/10 last 5 days . That brings us to 1.6 total this year. About half the canola crops in the area look absolutely terrrible. With a poor crop and poor prices we will be watching our spend very carefully.

        Ended up at 1.1” over the weekend. First measurable rain since before Mother’s day, puts us at 2.35” on the year.

        Past few years, we get one more rain July 1-3rd then taps shut off until Aug 4-10. Hoping history doesn’t repeat or this won’t be pretty.

        Must be a bumper everywhere else judging by the price drop of everything.

        Does Neil Townsend still do that crop tour where he drives around calling everything a bumper and causing grain prices to tank? Then grain prices double by spring….when there’s nothing left for the grain companies to buy.
