Will a U.S. high pressure ridge spark a fund summer 2025 grain rally?

    Ag Commodity Corner+ podcast
U.S. weather remains bearish through the 2nd - 3rd week of June but the forecast for a weak hot/dry weather forecast for the U.S. Western Corn Belt for end of June/July could see a late corn summer rally.

Where are the 90 trade deals in 90 days? Stocks continue to climb the wall of worry with U.S. Q1 earnings +13% better than expected!

A head and shoulders bottom in wheat looks promising ahead of the U.S. harvest.

The Sunday night weather forecast will become more critical over the next 10-12 weeks!

Let’s hope so cause there are huge areas in western Canada in reality heading for a poor crop .
a few ares for rain but the vast majority of the prairies in huge moisture deficiency

We are at 3 tenths since May 1st. Last weekend rain forecast was a bust.

The dry areas are huge and no one saying a word in the industry

            Perspective
60 days departure from average precipitation, as of June 6
the bit of rain that fell was mostly in areas not in the red with a few exceptions

Looks like a repeat of 2021 is looming. Drew Lerner uses an 18 yr cycle which 2007 is the first yr to look at and that was a disaster, least for us.
Hopefully things turn around fast. Most are saying 2-3 wks no rain it’s ball game.
Crap insurance should be “craping” their pants about now.

                Food for thought

If governments believe we can grow a crop with no subsoil moisture and no substantial general rains, why would they invest a billion dollars into an irrigation project for 100000 acres that will be subsidized to infinity????

The statistics are there and so are the maps. This should be the lead off story every day.
