what to use for pea herbicide?

Yellow peas are at 4 node. Good moisture around pea roots.
Put generic authority on after seeding and got a good rain after. Fields are very clean, just the odd volunteer canola and volunteer cereal and wild oats. Was wheat last year.

So do I just ignore the odd volunteer canola (maybe average 1 plant in area size of 2 pickup trucks) and spray grass herbicide only?

Or pursuit at 40-50% rate (80-100 acres/jug and tank mix with assure 2 or centurion?

Or Viper + UAN + maybe something like releaf pulse?

With low broadleaf weed count I don’t want to injure the peas, but would be nice to get volunteer canola.

Going to seed wheat next year and last pea crop was 8 years ago. I have had root rot issues before.

Why not just let it grow and preharvest with heavy dose ?

Why will viper hurt the peas,we have used it for the past several years and had good results. It is quite dry this spring will that make it hard on the peas.

You should be able to go with 1/3 rate of pursuit to get canola.
Soybean growers would have lots of experience.
          Agstar?

Works well , but it’s mornings like this that cause issues if sprayed within a few days before or after

Spray a clethodim product for grass control and make a separate pass with basagran when the peas get bigger. I usually put some releaf pulse with every application. This is a good option if the peas get out of staging and it’s really gentle on the crop. If you spray basagran go on a hot day with lots of water.

I am in Alberta and our nights have been 6-9 degrees and will be warmer yet Thurs and on when they will get sprayed. Will low rate pursuit hurt peas as much as Odyssey or Viper? Ok to add releaf pulse to pursuit?

Centurion or Assure 2 mixed with pursuit or does it matter?
