Good morning, it's raining in our neck of the woods. Looks heavy south and east of us, but so far 2/10 or total half inch since may 1.
One more day and we would of got to the half way mark. Bugs worked out on both drills and one can fly.
Bugs worked out well in Ontario with a liberal bug factory going broke. Then there an EV batteries and EV cars that no one wants. But still, China hits Western farmers because liberals feel it's a viable industry, and farming isn't.
I have one comment on the new Ag minister who worked in tourism. Something is fishy about this retard. I'm thinking the previous minister seen the farm climate scam and said farmers aren't going to bye that so he never got the job again. every farm group liked the last guy but this twit is useless.
Ok, crop report for week two.
Sask will be approaching 48% done seeding.
Pulses will be all seeded by now.
Barley for most will be seeded, but feed barley is later.
Durum and spring wheat will be almost complete.
Canola and flax, and oats will be getting in the ground next.
Early wheat is up in our area.
Farmers were just really getting into seeding in our area this last week.
Moisture conditions are good, but the surface is drying out with all the windy days.
Weeds are growing fast this spring.
Have a great weekend, hope the ones who need rain get it.
Oh, how come all the wannabe BTOS farming all pretend they are long century farms etc. But yes renting at $150.00 is cheaper than buying at $630,000.00 to million a quarter.
Have a great weekend.
