He has the economy as a priority over alot of the left wing human rights climate agenda.All leaders running believe in climate change .just to a different degree and what to do about it.It is refreshing for a politician with a common sense plane .Pollieve is preaching to the extreme right and tring to keep them in panick mode. When Pollieve was preaching about inflation and carbon tax he said farmers added it on to their grains when they sold them.Seems he pulls statements out of the air like his idle Trump.

Tariffs aren't the big issue trading with the EU.
They have a near impenetrable wall of non tariff barriers.
Much effort and money was spent to get Beef in there after BSE when RCALF was blocking US imports.
Canada has a trade recent agreement (CETA} to eliminate or reduce tariffs.
Does not look encouraging on the chart below. EU product came here even though they have the highest costs in the world but our increase probably was less than inflation.
Bombardier send rail equipment there and may big one of the bigger exporters.
As we know they do take Canola and peas some years.

Carney is a political correction.He is probably more right than alot of Conservatives.If the Conservative went back to their fiscal party they would have won long ago.But the ones that control the party just do not get it that it is the in-between voters that elect the government.
