This government should be viewed as skunk that sprayed in your yard, the skunk is long gone but the lingering stench remains!

You haven't read his book either, have you. Perhaps you and Chuck should start a book club. That can be your first book. Then you can offer an informed opinion next time.

Navarro says that is not enough. He wants non tariff barriers removed. Good luck with that. Vat tax and bio regulations. He does not mention those apply to domestic and imported products.

Tariffs aren't the big issue trading with the EU.
They have a near impenetrable wall of non tariff barriers.
Much effort and money was spent to get Beef in there after BSE when RCALF was blocking US imports.
Canada has a trade recent agreement (CETA} to eliminate or reduce tariffs.
Does not look encouraging on the chart below. EU product came here even though they have the highest costs in the world but our increase probably was less than inflation.
Bombardier send rail equipment there and may big one of the bigger exporters.
As we know they do take Canola and peas some years.
Be interested in Vikki's experience in dealing with them and China?

The yellow line was when CETA was suppose to increase our access. It has actually dropped in recent years

            They won't be our savior.

In 2023, Canada exported approximately $593 billion worth of goods to the United States and $105 billion worth of services, while importing $484 billion worth of goods and $123 billion worth of services from the US.?

                "Carney is a political correction."

A liberal "wish", dream, but reality and facts destroy that fairy tale. Midas touch in reverse.
