I watched this morning, did a good job trying to explain to the public how this affects us and that we are basically the sacrificial lamb caught in a fight that we got dragged into in previous fights with no compensation.

Yes I thought Daryl did a very decent job in his explanation.

Does no one remember labor day 2024. This canola thingy started a few months ago and neither the Conservatives or liberal took note. Don't think the canola growers reps did either.

Ironic how we were told that the the cwb and crow rate had to go because they were seen by the US as unfair trading mechanizms that favoured western canadian farmers over american farmers.

Farmers used to have an office representing farmers by the CWB in Beijing, do they still have an office there and who is manning it if there is? Haven't heard any updates from them or is there no one representing famers now that it is free market? Just asking!

Farmers have done a lousy job building a lobby organization for their industry. The most important office would be in Ottawa. I visited the Beijing office. Whoop de do.

Back in the 90s prairie pools had an office in Ottawa, but you could fill the rink in Saskatoon with 15000 farmers back then in short notice. Not sure we even have 15000 farmers now.
