What month do we put the sales canceling in when they change there mind and want to pay less instead.Do we take that out of the purchase month, cancel month or the day they told the ship to go hide in the Pacific for a few days.

I agree with Mr. Weber. Sales reporting past present and future would give a better overall picture. Cancellations are also reported.

With export sales reports , even Jethro Bodine could do the math.

That’s exactly why they don’t release it .

The chart that I shared and am just about to share are actual shipments to the end of April. We have no idea what sales are on the books that could be cancelled going forward thanks to the problem that Larry brought up.

A reporting system would certainly be a huge benefit for everyone but the commercial entities. Common sense would suggest they are the ones to blame for the lack of one.

I understand but every American grain company operating in Canada , understands why they do it in the USA. It benefits farmers , the economy, helps with programs , grain company and railway logistics etc etc etc.

Part of the reason logistics are so bad in Canada is because only one part of the equation knows what is going on.

As promised, interesting data showing a constant decline in the reliance on net exports to the U.S. as our crushing industry expanded. ??

I couldn't agree more with the benefits but it was the U.S. government that insisted on their reporting system after the Soviet Union 'great grain robbery' of 1973. The exporting companies are only complying by law.

Right but they do it because it is law. 52 years later and no politician can see the requirement. But the BQ can get a dairy protection bill to the senate in a week??????

Carney seems to be willing to change things if they seem to make economic sense?

Might be a window of opportunity if some of the farm lobby groups got on it.

Would have to go straight to him and not try to get through one of the former Trudeau stooges?

                      Social Media?
