    Welcome to Tariff Day.

Welcome to Tariff Day! 25% on all things Canada sells to the usa. This is going to hurt but really Trudeau was hitting us a extra 19% on April 1.

I know if I go to a down town usa city you might find someone stoned and out go to down town Vancouver it looks like armageddon. Fentanyl is a problem in canada its obvious. Trudeau saying it isn't is a problem. We have massive factory labs in canada.

Retaliatory tariffs of 100 billion on a country with a 22 trillion dollars economy is like finding a loonie on the street and thinking you are wealthy.

All this shit show is going to hurt all in canada that is for sure.

Scary times ahead and all that needed to be done was Trudeau and the liberals to call an election and leave.

Hang on its a very bad day to be Canadian.

Cbc had the mayor of Halifax saying she is looking for other markets for the Irvine oil now with the tarrifs in place. Ah isn't most of that Russian oil?

Just start tipping with loonies ( .60) instead of using your visa maybe they will get the hint. Maybe our black swan in the cattle biz has orange hair this time . Drinking my Canadian beer out of cans made in U.S.A. made from Canadian aluminum oh boy

I don't completely agree with this, scary times... yes. Does Canada need to get rid of the current Liberal scourge... yes. Would it matter which political party is forming government in Canada... I honestly don't think so, we're dealing with a narcissistic, egotistical, golden spooned dimwit intoxicated with power. There is no negotiating with a bully, you can concede what ever he's asking for but there will always be more demands.

I wonder if we will actually find out today what the tariffs are actually going to be applied to?
The threat of tariffs on "Everything " is more effective at accomplishing his goals than actual tariffs?

Trump is supposed to make a speech to Congress tonight with no teleprompter.
Does that mean just anything that comes into his head that he thinks will take all the air out of the room?

Whatever happens will totally dominate the news cycle for weeks till the next shocker.

            But we have Team Canada.

Tariffs are here and wont change any time soon. Trump has a speech in congress tonight. He's playing 3 D chess against Trudeau playing snakes and ladders.

I'm not happy but lets all remember when china hit us with tariffs on Canola what did Trudeau gov do to help farmers in western CANADA.

Nothing. Deal with it we were told,

Who came to CANADAs defence know one. Let that sink in.

              Its about trade.

              And we suck at trade.

We have more blockades in canada between provinces. And can't get our shot together.

Last Sk energy bill was $160 with the carbon tax removed.

Carbon tax would have been $85. I’m no math wizard but seems insane to pay 50+% tax for home heating in this country……

That died and was replaced by "Trump's" negotiated best "deal ever" USMCA(Nov 30 2018, during HIS first term).
