Apple Butter Old Fashioned

• 2 parts Maker's Mark®Bourbon CaskStrength ([url]https://www.makersmark.com/bourbons/makers-mark-cask-strength[/url])
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 2 flat bar spoons Apple Butter
• ¹/₂ part brown simple syrup (2:1 brown

STEP 1: MIX THE INGREDIENTS

Add ingredients to chilled mixing glass.

STEP 2: STIR IT UP

Add ice and stir.

STEP 3: DOUBLE STRAIN

Double strain into a chilled rocks glass with both a julep strainer and a tea strainer to capture any bits of apple butter.

Some weird shit happening with land on rents a top bidder north of us wants to renegotiate. Ah, you were the top bidder you wanted to pay to play. Also, the land desk maybe has a clause that if I can find 125-an-acre suckers ill pay a stupid price for a farm. New math is fun. Not.

If you farm and had 5 wrecks has your premium gone stupid or is Eastern Sask subsidizing the west side? During flood years we were told lost acres just happen to deal with it.

Rb suction down east Big Bud won't be in my collection of old tractors to expensive for this guy. It is $279,000.00 for this nice tractor, maybe lotto max tonight will help. Yes, I buy when it's stupid all you need is the right set of numbers. We far so everything is a gamble.

The farm up north? Is that the 6500 acres at Melville? If it is I see Angelic bought it, and is offering to rent it out. The ask was around $3000 an acre and I bet he put the screws on and bought it for less. What's the story with that? New shop and new bins....looks like someone changed their plans for the future. $3000 is crazy for that land but it is a lot better than the $5-6000 going on further north.
Give it an other 12-24 months of these prices and reality will become real again. $125 rent and $5000 acres is not sustainable or necessary! Big reset is coming. Throw some more weather issues in and a further degradation of SCIC coverage.....it all gets really real!

That tractor won’t sell. Probably see it at an auction. A lot of the higher priced loader tractors don’t sell. But then again a local environmental company didn’t think anything of spending $500k on 150 hp Deere

East side premiums are generally way less than what west central premiums are. Not very long ago here 30 bushel/acre canola premium was $27/acre. Melfort area maybe 50 bushel/acre $8 premium. Province doesn’t pay into crop insurance. Feds put money in , farmers put money in. Province takes money out. Wasn’t long ago Sask premier was complaining about farmers getting a pay out not leaving enough money for the province to take out.
