Three yard plow outs already this year, this is going to be one long winter. Neighbour hoped to leave cows out till xmas, he is bringing them home today.More feed will be used than last few winters for sure.

The wild life will have a very hard winter. all the stubble is full and the snow in the bush is deep. foraging will be very difficult and running from predators difficult. staying warm in The cold will also burn up a lot of energy. i'll crack open a couple bins now and then hopefully it helps...prices shit anyways

At White City I’ve seen deer in town every day.

The real problem is when they start coming into the yard and wasting good feed.

Jumping on and pissing all over hay makes it useless.

Big warm up this morning. Took the opportunity to get the snowmobile out of storage and running. Went out to a sheltered spot to get a measurement of the snow depth and looks like about 15 inches from a couple storms.

Foot of snow now inch of ice almost broke something stepping out of the pickup. Suicide on back roads.
