Camrose to Veg in the solonetz belt had some issues for sure.
We're just south of that.
Mudded in and you can tell.

Some nice, some average.
Fung the peas this weekend when cooler cause we're running out of time and bottom shows some disease. Time will tell on the wheat.
Few wonderful canola fields anywhere.

$8.00 wheat and $13 canola gonna hurt. Below B/E yields at that price look quite possible.

You just got to love farming. First real day of flowering in the canola and she's a heat blast out there.

Adding last N does add up for costs but having a big wheat crop with 11% protein takes you down.

Some will get the homemade nitrogen.
To hot so hauling a few loads of gravel to the yard for shop addition 2024.

I find their is a advantage,
we farm in a wet area usually.

I see a benefit and wouldn't continue with this if it didn't.

It works on our farm.

I prefer to buy the product pre-made.

Melt 46 if want.

Our Home made Nitrogen is a 33-0-0 and the cost to make is real cheap. The machine is expensive.

We use 10 gal directional nozels with fungicide.

our 33-0-0 is done at 10 gal an acre by itself.

Used to make to make 20-0-0 melting 46-0-0 urea fines from the dust collectors at the production plant.

Lost interest in that pretty quick.
