    Deluge

Just wondering the thots of the unlucky guys in areas with excessive rain. How many acres on a quarter are kaput? Or will there be recovery yet? Need the heat dome to settle over and dry this country out. Who would have thot this last year.

Acres that are lost aren't coming back. Just too bad it happens after hail insurance is bought and crop insurance is filed. Just added cost.

Have had it happen 3 or 4 times in 35.

I would say on my farm about 10% lost completely. Maybe 50% weak and yellow. The remaining 40% somewhat green but hanging on. Hasn’t rained the last 5-6 days and the yellow areas have gotten a little smaller.
The question about how much is lost in the US? I have no idea but when you see online farmers checking corn crops while paddling a boat there must be some aces lost.
