Amazing change from the past 4-5 years

All I find on a agriculture Canada is that my area was in a moderate drought on April 30, April 30 we had two inches of rain, I’ll keep surfing the internet looking for a high resolution map of rain totals.

Looking a little closer and the map shows extreme drought.

Running a seedhawk now. Emergence can’t be beat with a dual shank here. But comes with its own headaches too.

Do you put any fertilizer with the seed or does it all go down the second knife?

Definitely one thing we miss about the planter , wet conditions never an issue like this .
Good and not so good about any seeding tool available I guess.

steel packers here are a must like 19 years out of 20... until you're scrubbing mud off and then 75-100hp just magically disappears.

Durum is in. 45% done. Start canola tomorrow. No pulses as I refuse to work on the ground anymore.

Pretty nice conditions for seeding and the little showers in between are a big plus.
