    What do you seed first

Lots of neighbours seeding now. Most are seeding wheat, some are seeding barley. One neighbour has 800 acres of malt barley in already. Personally I start with wheat. Generally my soft white wheat will go in first, then hard red, then canola and finish with barley.

Generally wheat now goes in first
Tried the early canola game , never ever panned out for us .
This year we back into some pulses , so the Seed Master SR will start with lentils then peas then canola
the ole Bourgault will do the wheat again starting after we get the SR going on lentils .
looks like mid week type start up after this cool damp weather goes through .
weed growth just starting so sprayer will be going this week

Used to be canola hoping for a lucky spring rain, but those havent materialized much in the past few yrs, so durum now.

Hey Furrow, your seedmaster is on 15 inch rows, is it not. Is this not too wide for lentils.

we do peas first then wheat then oats canola last. It would be nice if it would rain a couple of inches first very dry around here.
