My thoughts - I thought the Sask #'s were a bit high, but maybe it was Monette.
Alberta seemed low compared to the stories of how everyone is moving to Alberta! BC being down made sense as that market got overheated. I was surprised Ontario was up so much after there was so much speculation in Southern part.

Numbers look right in my neck of the woods, don’t really follow further afield. Hutts are the ones driving prices up here. Properties on the hinterland fringe take forever to sell, good stuff gets sold without being listed.

east central sk has the cheapest land in all of canada bar none. its weird because it's probably close to the top of the production of non row crop areas. black hats are starting to notice and are moving in so if you want to get more land this is the place!

All kidding aside, it does look like the best value land. It actually rains.

Youngstown Alta. seems like the place to go. 125000 quarters there today. What’s up, these were crop land quarters, not all pasture.

The second cheapest quarter was $56,000.
With $1600 in surface lease revenue.
If the annual lease never goes up, the principle will be paid off in 35 years. As it increases with inflation, odds are that can be cut down to fit a 25 year mortgage.
In theory, all you'd have to do is pay the interest and the taxes.

Before you get too excited, there is a reason that is all land is worth there.

I had an Uncle with land there for 20 years. Farmers used to get excited about a 30 bushel summerfallow crop of wheat.
