Hard to say. I just read an article that speculated corn yields will be a bit higher and soybeans a bit lower than earlier reports from the USDA. Whether this comes to pass remains to be seen. Lower corn prices mean lower barley prices. Will higher soybean prices help canola? Certainly hope so. Regardless it looks like no shortage of corn in the world.

Heads all full of #'s /charts? Poor yields more than made up by the good yields.

Est US prices down 18-25% from last year. Canola be 33% lower any time.

World is NOT eating corn fast enough, soybeans neither, so much for a bigger population....

so farmers will GROW more to make up for lower prices, RIGHT?

Therefore if crops are good or better, prices going to be lower after harvest.

What's the strategy to cover costs stay in business now? Reduce demand for inputs & iron?
