    What's with SWP? Seems to show some strength of late.

      CP,
      Do you think that the CDN$ will follow the US$ lower as the world diversifies into the Euro and Gold?
      I heard that the rumours are of another cut in interest rates late spring or early summer. I'm new to following currency and interested in your thoughts.

          Our dollar will go higher and is perhaps the strongest of all the worlds currency with exception to the swiss.Anybody that says were tied the u.s dollar really doesnt know what their talking about-this is a basic knowen fact among traders.Yes the east and most canadians will suffer,just like the 70's,but the commoditie producers wont.And seeing as canada is THEE most commoditie rich country,.... our currency will rise just like it has been.Of course massive military developments could change this.Traders would view the u.s as a safe haven?

          As far as SWP its just smart money moving in before the real run up in grain prices.You got my 50 bucks ready melvill.

          Wheat bounced perfectly off its trend line and canola's trend line looks BEAUTIFUL{HOWS THOSE NOV 07 SALES GOING TOM&THE BOYS WOULDNT IT BE PRUDENT TO SELL ANOTHER 7%WHY DONT YOU GOOGLE UNDERWATER HEDGE AND SEE WHAT YOU MIGHT LEARN}

          As far as interest rate cuts here in canada,i'd be very surprised.If they did we would see way higher grain prices.
