    Bye,Bye penny

With zinc topping $1.80 a pound a penny is now worth more than a penny.

Now everybody repeat after me "there is no inflation".

Gee, and the Penny I remember from high school was worth her weight in gold. In today's world she'd be worth her weight in zinc.

I got you both beat - the Penny I knew in school was "Penny Nicol" - and she was worthy of every cent!

Chaffmeister and Incognito, I needed a laugh this morning and your two posts did it. Wait 'till I talk to the guys at MNN and tell them about their name change!!! I wonder if they'll change their billing from 6-minute increments to what.....
