The Russian people thought communism was great until the iron curtain fell. I guess we'll have think the CWB is alright until we get to try something new to. What the hell could it hurt?

Let me give an example of communism which is so often mistaken for capitalisn and us critics are then called socialists.

The Hog Industry in the USA.

Currently owned and operated by a handful of enivironmentally destructive multi-nationals. Why and how did it get that way. NOT FREE MARKET CAPITALISM. Huge government subsidies were poured in the industry (billions) then kickbacks to the government for campaign funds which in turn were paid back with reduced government enforced environmental restrictions on the hog operations. A nasty communistic cycle.

The hog industry is the USA is a perfect model example of how the grain industry would work with no CWB. We would be farmers farmed by multi-nationals. We take all the risk of production and they squeeze us. FACT.

I once talked to an executive from Cargil USA, His statement was, We (Americans) will grow the grain. We want you (Canadians) to raise those stinking cattle and hogs and there feed. BUT WE WILL OWN THEM.
You guy's figure out the multi national's big picture.

Just because the US does SOME stupid things... doesn't mean we must follow the mistakes too!

Loving and respecting our neighbour and their right to make decisions for themselves... doing unto others as we would have done unto ourselves...
