    More Rain

How much rain did you get in your areas? We got another 50mm 2 inches and it is still raining in the Leader, Sask area. Lots of combining to do here yet but that will be a few days before we can get back at it.

west central AB has received around an inch and a half since Thurday afternoon. Very little combining done with the exception of a field or two in the Leduc area. Lots of second cut still standing . This is cattle country and pastures are still in excellent shape so that is one bonus. As usual if and when the warm sunny weather shows up everyone will be going seven directions at once to try and get the fall work done before snow !!! Hope you get better harvest weather, sounds as though most of Sask. had ample moisture this year.

We are 100 miles south of Saskatoon. Got 96mm or 3.8inches in about 6 hours late yesterday (10th)--- what a mess ---- just over half done combining and were waiting because nothing was ready.

5.5 inches in 36 hours north of Lethbridge. Good for pastures maybe, but crops are taking a beating. Lakes everywhere delaying an already late harvest.

Near Innisfail . We have had 3.25 inches since Thursday night. Not much combining done in this area and it is raining as I write here this morning. We will have a hard time getting to the fields let alone doing something once we get there. Water was running every where on Saturday.

The weather station here in Brooks recorded 86 mm (3.4 inches) over Saturday and Sunday. Water isn't soaking away this time because the ground is already well wetted from the June and August rains.
