    Weather forecast, yikes!!

For central Alberta, starting Monday highs of -3 and snow. Monday through Saturday no warmer than -3. Up to 6 inches(15 centimetres) of snow. Winter like weather, not looking forward to it.

Woke up to 2 inches of snow and -4. More snow predicted for this afternoon. Glad we got all the cattle home yesterday.

Minus 20 forcast for Wednesday night. A great time to fire-up the bin fans. A shitty time to still have Fierce to apply.

First train of the season with frozen lids.

Not as much snow here as Hamloc has. We’ll see if it kicks in during the day.

Time to fire up the fans again, knock the temps down to 0.

                  Gonna wait for a bit
Hard to believe, but it costs about $25/day to run a 5 hp fan !

                    That's some expensive electricity.

At 14 cents per kwh (SK farm price) it works out to about half that cost here. And that is only if the fan is moving max air and max rated power, which a bin full of grain will not allow a fan to do.
