What is Cirrus x woth per acre. We have also used mollasses in the past. you just have to have somekind of a carbon source to stabilize the N. Probably switch to H3 next year.Originally posted by furrowtickler View PostWe just used CirrusX last year
But would be very interested in where and what humate you use

We changed the fuel line on any of them right back to the 8010 , it burst and was shooting fuel into the dust that was gathered there , it felt like airline that was good for about 5 PSIOriginally posted by Goodtime View PostYep a 9240, if it was a fuel line it would make sense it was engulfed very quickly.
Luckily it done it in the yard
Not sure about 40 series but 9230 same junk as 8010 and 8120 and probably all Nh’s also

Why the plastic of the fuel tank is not protected by tin especially around the chopper bearing area is beyond me. Guess they sell more combines this way.Originally posted by blackpowder View PostThat is so not funny. Sometimes surprised it doesn't happen more often.
Definitely not much to salvage when 1100 litres in that plastic tank goes.
It's just iron, take care.

I kinda get why they're molded plastic for shape etc. They could use actual bulkhead fittings tho instead of threaded, as they all sweat fuel.
That area over back of rotor and chopper bearings and tailings processor, nothing but a chaff well.
All low pressure Iveco fuel lines just plastic with screwy push on fittings.
How small do you want the fire and still have to fix it?? Just sayin...

Buddy's 8120 also had a fuel line leak. I was running other combine and saw a bit of smoke, managed to get the driver to stop and he got the fire out before it got too big. That was about 10 yrs ago now.Originally posted by caseih View PostWe changed the fuel line on any of them right back to the 8010 , it burst and was shooting fuel into the dust that was gathered there , it felt like airline that was good for about 5 PSI
